'Abdullah ibn Jahsh al-Asadi ( Arab. عبد الله بن جحش 580, Mecca, the present-day Saudi Arabia -. 625, the present-day Saudi Arabia.) - a close associate of the Prophet Muhammad , a spokesman for the Arab kind of Bani Asad ibn Khuzaimah, Confederate Bani Umayya tribe of Quraysh. His mother, Umaima bint Abd al-Muttalib, was the aunt of Muhammad.

Biography
His full name is: 'Abdullah ibn Jahsh ibn Riab ibn Ya'mar ibn Sabra ibn Murra ibn Asad ibn Husaym. Early converted to Islam with his brothers, Ubaidullah and Abu Ahmad. He participated in the migration to Abyssinia . Ubaidullah became a Christian and died there, but Abdullah returned to Mecca and became the most prominent group of Confederates, who all migrated to Medina. His sister Zeinab was the wife of the Prophet Muhammad. He was criticized for killing Quraysh in Nahl. Fought in the Battle of Badr. He died between the ages of 40 and 50 at the Battle of Uhud [1] .
