History

IMOLOVO - village of Valdos society, Pashekozhelsky parish.
Peasant households - 21. Buildings - 48, including residential - 32.
The number of inhabitants according to the family lists of 1879: 55 m. P.; according to the parish records of 1879: 48 m.p., 59 g. n [2] .

At the end of the 19th century, the village belonged to the Novinsky volost of the 2nd camp, at the beginning of the 20th century - to the Novinsky volost of the 1st zemsky district of the 1st camp of the Tikhvin district of the Novgorod province .

IMOLOVO - the village of Valdos society, courtyards - 26, residential buildings - 32, number of inhabitants: 58 m., 65 w. P.
Occupations of residents - agriculture, forestry earnings and apiary. Lake. Chapel, zemstvo school, bakery store. (1910 year) [3]

From 1917 to 1918, the village of Imolovo was part of the Novinsky volost of the Tikhvin district of the Novgorod province.

Since 1927, as part of the Pudrol village council of the Tikhvin region.

Since 1928, as part of the Gorodok village council. In 1928, the population of the village of Imolovo was 162 people [4] .

According to 1933, the village of Imolovo was part of the Gorodoksky village council [5] .

In 1958, the population of the village of Imolovo was 37 people [4] .

According to the data of 1966 and 1973, the village of Imolovo was also part of the Gorodok village council [6] [7] .

The village is located in the western part of the region west of the highway 41K-021 ( Kayvaksa - Sankovo ).

The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 20 km [11] .

The distance to the nearest railway station is Tikhvin - 43 km [6] .

The village is located between the Chagolinsky and Imolovsky lakes.
