Biography
He studied acting at the school at the German Theater in Berlin. Since 1938 - theater actor: Kaiserslautern , Heidelberg , Magdeburg , in the Berliner Ensemble , German Theater. Since 1950 he lived in the GDR . He made his film debut in 1953 (" Geheimakten Solvay "). Fame brought him the role of Hans Löning in the film "Stronger than Night." He starred a lot abroad, especially in Czechoslovakia. He worked on television.
