Perelmuter, Vadim Gershevich

Wadim Gershevich Perelmuther (born October 28, 1943 , Moscow ) is a Soviet and Russian poet, literary historian, essayist, cultural scientist, graphic artist. Editor of the online magazine of Russian culture Toronto Slavic Quarterly (2002-2012) .

Biography

Vadim Perelmuter was born on October 28, 1943 in Moscow [1] .

Began to publish in January 1966 [1] .

In 1971 he graduated from the Institute of Literature named after A. M. Gorky . He worked in various magazines and newspapers, more than ten years - in the magazine " Literary Studies " / He taught at the Maimonides Jewish Academy. Lectured on the history of Russian literature in universities in Germany, France, Austria, USA [1] .

The author of six books of poetry and four books of prose [1] .

I prepared and published more than 50 books by Russian poets and writers: Peter Vyazemsky , Constantine Slichevski , Vladislav Khodasevich , Georgi Shengeli , Sergei Shervinsky , Arkady Steinberg , Valentin Kataev , Asar Eppel, Valentine Parnaha, Mark Tarlovskaya, Velimir Khlebnikov, Yuri Dombrowski and others, and also books on the history of literature. He prepared and published five books by Sigismund Krzhizhanovsky in 1989–1999 and a commented six-volume collection of essays in 2000–2011, which contributed to the return of this forgotten writer to the modern literary discourse [1] .

Since 1997 he lives in Munich [1] .
