Biography
Bakhodyr Tazhiev was born on October 11, 1958 in the Shavat district of the Khorezm region . He graduated from Tashkent State University with a degree in hydrological engineering [2] . Currently, he holds the posts of chairman of the farmers council of the Khorezm region, chairman of the Khorezm regional council of the UzLiDeP party [3] , and a deputy of the Kengash of the Khorezm region [4] .
According to the results of the Senate elections held on January 13-14, 2015, Bakhodyr Tazhiev was elected a senator from the Khorezm province [5] , and is the deputy chairman of the Senate Committee on Water Management and Ecology [4] .
