His father was Consul-Suffect 31 years old Publius Memmius Regulus . From 35 to 45, Regulus was a legate with his father, who ruled the provinces of Macedonia , Achaia and Moesia . In 63, he served as ordinary consul along with Lucius Verginius Rufus . After the consulate, in 65, Regulus became a member of the colleges of the priests Augustus and Claudius .
