Zun ( Kalm. Zun ) - a disappeared village in the Yashalta district of Kalmykia . It was located at the Zun beam [1] , southeast of the village of Matrosovo (2nd Chonos) [2] , about 1.3 km from the left bank of the Dzhalga River.

The name is of Kalmyk origin and translates as one hundred or summer [3]
History
Date of establishment not established. According to the list of populated areas of the Stavropol province in 1909, 117 people, 57 male and 60 female souls, 27 courtyards, a bread store, a fire convoy, and a clan department were located in the hoton Zun Ikichonosova of the Bolshederbetovsky ulus clan [1] .
In 1920, as part of the Bolshederbetovsky ulus, it was included in the Kalmyk Autonomous Okrug (since 1935 - the Kalmyk Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic ).
On December 28, 1943, Kalmyks were deported , the village of Zun, like other settlements in the Yashalt district of the Kalmyk ASSR, was included in the Rostov region . Excluded from the list of settlements in 1948 [4]
