Biography
Born on April 7, 1942 in the city of Ulaanbaatar (Mongolia).
In 1968 he graduated from the Kazan Institute of Chemical Technology .
In 1978 - defended his thesis, topic: "Research in the field of copolymerization of isobutylene with isoprene and some ways to improve industrial synthesis of the copolymer."
In 1988 - defended his doctoral dissertation, topic: “The control of the selectivity of deep homo- and heterophasic polymerization as the basis of resource-saving elastomer technology”
Scientific activity
Scientific research areas:
- chemistry and technology of macromolecular compounds; solution, suspension, gas-phase, radical, cationic, anionic and stereospecific (co) polymerization;
- modification of polymers, sorbents, oils; synthesis of additives for oils;
- development and creation of the first in Russia production of highly stereospecific rare-earth catalysts for "neodymium" elastomers;
- environmental safety of production of SK, rubber goods and petrochemicals;
- a technology and installation for processing spent copper-ammonia solution with the production of pigments for paints were created;
- environmental and economic efficiency of technological processes - development and implementation of resource-saving technologies for elastomers - butadiene and isoprene elastomers, polyisobutylene, butyl rubber, antioxidants, liquid rubbers at the plants in Nizhnekamsk and Efremov;
- developed concept of multi-recycling, implemented in relation to adsorbents;
- synergetics of deep processing of raw materials (wood, oil, gas, etc.);
- development and implementation in the field of nanotechnology; new types of highly dispersed amorphous silica ("nanosilica"), magnesium oxide and adsorbents, polymer nanomaterials (self-assemling block copolymers for the University of Toronto (Canada), etc.);
- research in the field of chemistry of methanol and the production of monomers based on it;
- together with the Institute of Chemical Physics RAS and BashSU - the development and industrial use of turbulent reactors for ultrafast reactions;
- in connection with the preparation of a raw material base for biobutadiene production using a new technology, work is underway in the field of catalysis, as well as the development and development of lignocellulosic bioethanol technology based on wood and agricultural waste in Russia.
Community Activities
