Alois Gadamczyk ( Czech Alois Hadamczik ; born June 20, 1952 , Kravaře , Czechoslovakia ) is a Czech hockey player and coach . At present, he is the head coach of the Czech junior team (under 18 years old).

Biography

Hockey player Alois Gadamczyk played in clubs of the second Czechoslovak league. In 1984, he first tried himself in the role of head coach - he headed the Ocelargi club. In parallel, he graduated from the Faculty of Physical Education at Charles University . From 1990 to 1992 he worked in Germany, in the clubs of the lower leagues. From 1993 to 1995, he headed the hockey club Vitkovice. In 1995, he returned to the Ocelarges, with whom he won second place in the league in the 1997/98 season. In 2000, he again headed “Vitkovice”, in the 2001/02 season in the final of the playoffs, his wards outplayed Sparta in Prague, after which Alois was invited to the capital's club. With the team he doubled third in the league. From 2004 to 2006 - head coach of the Czech youth team. At the World Youth Championship 2005, he won bronze with the team. In 2006, he took over the main national team. For 7 years at the helm of the Czech team (from 2006 to 2008 and from 2011 to 2013), Gadamczyk won 1 silver and 2 bronze medals of the World Championship (Latvia 2006, Slovakia 2011, Finland / Sweden 2012), as well as the bronze medal of the 2006 Olympic Games in Turin. After the failure of the Czech team at the 2014 Olympics, he left his post. Between 2008 and 2010, he headed the Vitkovice. In the 2009/10 season, he took second place with the club in the Czech championship. In the 2015/16 season he led the hockey club Comet from the city of Brno. Starting from the 2018/19 season, he is the head coach of the Czech junior team (under 18 years old).

Personal life and family

Alois Gadamchik is a successful businessman in real estate.

His brother, Evgen Gadamczyk (10/28/1939 - 09/19/1984) is a former Czechoslovak football coach. Twice (in 1980 and 1981) led the “ Banik ” from Ostrava to victory in the championship of Czechoslovakia . He committed suicide at the age of 44 years.

Nicole's daughter is married to the famous hockey player Michal Barinka , world champion in 2010.

Grandchildren Philip Gadamczyk (born 03/03/2000) and Marcel Barinka (born 03/23/2001) are young Czech hockey players who play for the Czech junior teams.
