The channel is laid in the earthen channel without anti-filtering protective measures, which leads to large losses of water, especially on light soils. Errors in design, the lack of anti-filtration measures and violations of irrigation norms led to the rise of groundwater and waterlogging of the soil, and the active evaporation of soil moisture caused secondary salinization — the formation of salt marshes [1] . The channel contributes to the flooding of the village of Yashkul [4] .
