Vasily Ivanovich Bubnov ( April 2, 1933 , Voronezh Oblast - July 23, 2016 ) - Soviet production leader, foreman of tunnel mines at the Zapadno-Donbasskaya mine No. 16/17 of the Dneproshakhtostroy plant, laureate of the USSR State Prize .

Biography

Born on April 2, 1933 in the territory of the current Voronezh region .

He worked on a collective farm, served on the Black Sea Fleet. After being fired, he became a miner.

Member of the CPSU since 1966.

Since 1963, he has been the foreman of the ShSU-3 drifters at the Dneprshakhtostroy plant. In 1964, he made proposals to improve the performance of roadheaders, increasing their productivity by 20-30%.

In December 1984, the Bubnov team in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Stakhanov movement set an industry record for penetration. When passing the main ventilation drift at the Zapadno-Donbasskaya mine with a cross section of 13 square meters, with a slope of 5 degrees downward, the figure was 707 running meters according to official data, and actually 736 meters.

The delegate of the XXIV Congress of the CPSU (1971). Member of the Supreme Council of the Ukrainian SSR of the 10-11th convocations.

Died July 23, 2016 .
