Story
Having dealt with the bandit Mail Waganam, Singam resigns. But, in fact, this is a deceitful maneuver, the minister sends him to work undercover in Tuticorin , to hunt down arms dealers. Singam is arranged as an instructor in a military department at one of the schools. However, his wedding with Cava is postponed, because the father, upset by the resignation of his son, does not give his blessing.
Singham finds out that Sahayam, a criminal boss named Bhai, is engaged in smuggling in Tutikorin. Almost all the police obey him. The only one he is considered to be in the city is the businessman Tangaraj, with whom they are constantly confronting. It also turns out that the people of Sahayama are transporting drugs, not weapons. Meanwhile, Satya, the niece of Tangaraja, who is studying at the same school where Singam works, falls in love with him.
A quarrel between Sahayama and a representative of another caste results in major unrest in the city. When things get out of hand, Singam decides to return to the police. Under his leadership, pogroms and killings can be stopped. In order not to attract the attention of drug dealers ahead of time, the policeman pretends to be engaged in youth affairs.
Meanwhile, international criminal Danny arrives in the city to meet with Tangaraj. Concerned about Singam’s appointment, Tangaraj meets with Bhai, with whom he has been working together all this time. But Singam himself sees this meeting. New information confuses him all the cards and forces him to act unexpectedly. He orders the arrest of Sahayam. However, Danny, whom Sahayam was supposed to bring to the city, is also imprisoned. To free his partner, Tangaraj connects all his connections. And when this does not help, Bhai organizes a raid on the police station in the absence of Singam. The search for escaped criminals is sabotaged by the police.
Frustrated by the rout of the police station, Singam asks the Minister for emergency powers and, having received them, begins the hunt for drug dealers. Bhaya is arrested in Trivandram with a shipment of drugs in his hands. Tangaraj hires people to kill the Singam family on the day of his engagement with Kawya, but the policeman deals with them. With the help of Satya, he manages to connect to the businessman’s phone to listen to his negotiations, and toss drugs into his house. Tangaraja is being arrested, but he realizes that the niece helped the police and orders to kill her.

Sangita Devi from The Hindu expressed the opinion that the film could be shorter in length and smarter in the plot, and it should be watched only for the sake of Surya [14] . A review in The Times of India reports that “if Lionheart was a mass masala, then Lionheart 2 is doubly her. Hari understands how much fun he wants to share with his audience, and shamelessly distributes it to the right and left ” [15] . Deccan Chronicle considered the movie worth watching for the play of Surya, the beauty of Hansika and Anushka , comedy scenes with Santanam and Vivek, the cameraman’s work of Priyan and the production of battle scenes, however, the songs could be better and the dialogs are sometimes boring [16] . Haricharan Puddipedi from the Hindustan Times noted that although “he has a storyline that can keep you hooked, but what does not work for the benefit of the film is the presence of too many characters and a weak script” [17] . Nandini Ramnat called him “a fighter of this kind, in which even the sea waves are considered too slow and therefore also undergo” acceleration [18] .
