The first Olympiad (Sarajevo-1984) ended unsuccessfully for the athlete: on the normal springboard, he showed the sixth result, on the big - the twenty-eighth and did not get into the team competition.

On December 8, 1984, Felder won his first victory at the World Cup stage - he obeyed the overseas start from the Canadian town of Thunder Bay. In the same season, the Austrian won two silver medals at the World Championships in Seefeld : on the middle springboard and in the team championship.

The richest in victories at the stages for the jumper was the 1990/1991 season. He won seven stages and won first place in the overall World Cup . Also in the asset of this year you can put the gold of the World Cup in Val di Fiemme in the team.

At his third Olympics in Albertville, the Austrian did not perform very well, winning only a silver medal in the team. At the end of the year, he decided to end his sports career and did it very effectively: at his last competition in March 1992, Felder won two victories: first he won the team tournament in the Austrian national team, and the next day he celebrated his personal, twenty-fifth victory at the World Cup. After which I did not take part in competitions of the highest level.
