Biography
Born into an impoverished noble family in Kazan , early left an orphan. He studied at the Novgorod Cadet Corps (1856) and at the Konstantinovsky Military School . After graduating from the Konstantinovsky Military School, he was assigned to the Smolensk Infantry Regiment in the Kingdom of Poland .
He was one of the leaders of the revolutionary organization of Russian officers in Poland. In 1863, during the uprising in Poland, Krupsky, being the company commander, helped in every way and showed sympathy for the rebels. In the same year he married Elizabeth Vasilyevna Tistrova (1843-1915).
In 1869 he graduated from the Academy of Law and was again sent to Poland. For assistance to the local population during a riot, he was dismissed from service. After his dismissal, he was put on trial, which deprived him of the right to hold public office. Trial red tape lasted for many years and undermined the health of Konstantin Ignatievich. In the end, the Senate acquitted Krupsky.
He died in 1883 of pulmonary tuberculosis . A paper was issued to the widow that "on February 24, 1883, a retired collegiate assessor K. I. Krupsky, 41, would die of the pulmonary consumption of God by the will of God." The age was specified erroneously, although it did not matter any more.
According to his lifetime wish, he was buried in the Novodevichy cemetery of St. Petersburg [1] .
