Ayolot [1] ( lat. Bipes biporus ) is a species of reptiles from the family of two-legs ( Bipedidae ). Endemic of Mexico. It lives on the California Peninsula.

The total length reaches 15-23 cm. The head is short, rounded with small eyes. The body is worm-shaped, covered with fine, smooth scales. The tail is short, pointed. Hind limbs reduced. Were limbs short with 5 fingers, with long claws. Forked tongue.
Loves sandy soils, semi-deserts. He spends most of his life underground, digging his moves and holes. Appears on the surface after rain. Active at night. It feeds on insects, mainly ants and termites.
Oviparous species. The female in July lays 1-4 eggs. After 2 months, young two-legs appear.
Life expectancy of 1-2 years.
