Biography

Born on June 11, 1911 in the village of Verkhny Kugener, Urzhumsky District, Vyatka Province of the Russian Empire (now Sernursky District , Mari El , Russia ) in a teacher's family.

He graduated from the courses at Sernur Pedagogical College ( 1930 ), Kachin Flight School ( 1939 ). Member of the Soviet-Finnish ( 1939 - 1940 ) and World War II. Fighter pilot He flew fighters "I-16" and "Yak-1", both in the group and alone - to attack, reconnaissance, patrol, intercept enemy aircraft, was the deputy commander of the squadron of the 158th Fighter Regiment. One day, he shot down two Junkers-88 aircraft, did not let the enemy bomb the bridge. In air battles at the beginning of World War II shot down 6 enemy aircraft. Reflecting an air raid on the city of Leningrad, on the site of Krasnogvardeisk-Sivoritsy, as a result of an air battle with enemy aircraft crashed near the town of Lyady of the Leningrad Region, the plane was broken, the pilot was killed. Two days after his death, the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR issued an award.

He died July 20, 1941 in an unequal air battle in the Leningrad region.

He was awarded the Order of the Red Banner ( 1940 ) and Lenin ( 1941 , posthumously).
