History
The street began to take shape back in the 17th century. Different sections of the street were called differently, in fact, the street continued to the modern Lenin Square and Kirov Street. She was called the Butcher and the Public. On August 27, 1919, Myasnitskaya Street was renamed May 11, in honor of the day of the dissolution of the City Duma and the formation of the Bolshevik City Council. After World War II, the street was shortened to a drama theater, in accordance with the new configuration of Lenin Square. Accordingly, part of the street passed to this square. An administrative building appeared between the two former sections of the same street. In 1962, the street was renamed Teatralnaya.
