International Wildcard Qualifier

International Wildcard Qualifier (IWCQ) is a non-core international tournament for the computer game League of Legends . It was held as a selection for the League of Legends World Championship . The IWCQ rally draws champions of the summer split of minor regional leagues [1] .

In the 3rd season, the tournament was called the International Wildcard Tournament [2] . Two international Wildcard tournaments - IWC Gamescom 2014 and IWC PAX Prime 2014 [3] [4] [5] took place in the 2014 season. In 2015, the selection for the World Cup consisted of Decafio Internacional and IWC Turkey [6] [7] tournaments. In the 2016 season, a single International Wildcard Qualifier was held , where two passes to the World Championship were played [8] [9] .
