Famous Italian portrait painter, whose works are presented in a number of museums around the world ( Vienna , Munich , Kazan ), as well as in museums in various cities of Italy. The first artistic training took place at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice (in the years from 1845 to 1850). He loved to paint Venice and the Venetians, his portrait of Aristide exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art Ca 'Pesaro [3] .
In Venice, on the Piazza San Marco in the famous cafe Florian, one of the halls, namely the “Hall of Great People” ( Italian: Sala degli Uomini Illustri ) is decorated with paintings by Giulio Carlini, depicting ten famous Venetians: playwright Carlo Goldoni , traveler Marco Polo , artist Titian , Doge Enrico Dandolo , Francesco Morosini and Pietro Orseolo , architect Andrea Palladio , composer Benedetto Marcello , scientist Paolo Sarpi and Admiral Vettor Pisani [4] .
He was an academician of the Academy of Fine Arts of Venice and the Academy of Raphael Sanzio from Urbino , cavalier of the Italian Crown (1874) [3] .
