Content
Biography
The son of a brewer. Graduate of the Lviv Polytechnic Institute .
Later, he graduated in absentia from the Faculty of Journalism of Lviv University . He worked as a junior research fellow at a research institute, an athletics coach, a correspondent for the Sickle and Hammer regional newspaper ( Gorodok ), and a director of the Lviv Interregional Department of the Ukrlitfond.
He died in 2008 from liver cancer.
Creativity
He made his debut as a writer with a collection of short stories and novels "Filmar" in 1989.
It was published in the regional and republican periodicals, the Zhovten magazine, the Vitrila almanac (Sails).
He is the author of eight books, including novels, novels, short stories, short stories, children's tales, and books in the genre of science fiction .
The latest work by Y. Pavlyuk is The Nicholas Emperor, a historical chronicle of relations between the Russian Empress Elizabeth I and Count Alexei Razumovsky , brother of the last hetman of Ukraine, Kirill Razumovsky .
Two novels of a prose writer are related to science fiction - “Filmar” (1985-1987) and the continuation of “Ailen” (1990).
