Born September 15, 1916 in Odessa.

In 1934 he entered the Leningrad Institute of Precision Mechanics and Optics (LITMO), after 3 courses (1937) in the special set of the Komsomol Central Committee, he was sent to study at the K.E. Voroshilov Naval Academy (VMA).

He graduated with honors from the Faculty of Artillery (1940), specializing in "Fire Control Devices", engineer-gunner of naval weapons.

He worked as a teacher in the department "Shooting control devices" of the artillery department of the Higher special classes of officers of the Navy (VSKOS) (Leningrad). In 1945-1946, on a business trip to Germany, as part of the marine section of the Technical Commission for the Study of Missile Technology, he collected materials on missile weapon control systems for shipborne missile systems, stabilization and gyroscopy.

Candidate of Technical Sciences (1944); Doctor of Technical Sciences (1954); Professor (1958).

Senior Lecturer, Professor, Deputy Head of the Department "Shooting Control Devices" of the Military Aviation Administration.

From 1970 to 1994 he worked at the Central Research Institute "Elektropribor".

Specialist in the field of gyroscopy and stabilization of naval artillery and missile weapons. He is the author of textbooks, monographs (including Theory of Gyroscopic Devices in 2 volumes and Stabilization of Measuring Devices on a Swinging Base), analytical reviews and inventions on problems of analysis and synthesis of stabilization systems for ship rocket and artillery weapons on an irregular roll, and optimal information processing in navigation systems in the face of uncertainty.

Honored Worker of Science and Technology of the RSFSR (1967). Inventor of the USSR. He was awarded the Order of the Red Star and World War II degree.

He died on November 1, 2012 at the 97th year of his life.

  • The theory of gyroscopic and stabilization devices of rocket weapons. In two volumes. 1959, 1965;
  • Statistical synthesis of gyroscopic devices. 1970.
