Walter Tyson Fields (also known as Tye Fields , February 8, 1975 in Missoula , USA ) is an American professional boxer who plays in the Heavyweight category. Winner of four regional titles. Before joining boxing, he played for the university basketball team.

Professional career
Fields made his debut in February 1999. In July 2000, he knocked out in the 1st round of Kurtis McDorman (4-0).
In January 2001, he unexpectedly lost by knockout to Jeff Ford (2-0).
Six months later, Fields took revenge, and knocked out Ford in the same 1st round.
In September 2003, Ty defeated Sherman Williams .
In 2005, he defeated Cedric Fields and knocked out former world champion, Bruce Seldon .
In 2004, he prematurely defeated the American, Maurice Harris .
In 2008, he suffered his second defeat, again lost by knockout in the 1st round, this time to an experienced American, Monte Barrett .
Then he knocked out Nikolai Firtu and Galen Brown. In March 2011, he lost by knockout to Michael Grant .
After that he took part in the Prizefighter tournament. In the quarterfinals, Fields defeated Michael Sprott . In the semifinals, he knocked out the German, Konstantin Irikh , and in the final he lost by knockout to the Cuban, Mike Peres .
In March 2012, he lost by technical knockout to the undefeated Pole, Mariusz Wahu .
