Andrei Yuryevich Konyaev ( June 13, 1984 , Tambov , RSFSR , USSR ) - Russian journalist. The publisher of the popular science online publication N + 1, in 2015-2017 was the chief editor. Former columnist and editor-in-chief of the Science and Technology department at Lenta.ru . Founder of the Lentach and Obrazovac communities. Lecturer in Mechanics and Mathematics, Moscow State University , candidate of physical and mathematical sciences .

Biography

Born on June 13 [1] 1984 in the city of Tambov. From 1998 to 2002 he studied at the Tambov Regional Physics and Mathematics Lyceum . In 2007 he graduated from the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Moscow State University. In 2011, he defended his thesis on the topic “Algebraic and geometric properties of systems obtained by the argument shift method”. Since 2010, he is an employee of the Department of Differential Geometry and Applications [2] .

Since 2008, he worked as a news editor, wrote many articles and columns [3] [4] [5] [6] . In 2012, he headed the “Science and Technology” column. Since 2011, he led the public Lenta on VKontakte (the unofficial name is “Lentach”) [7] . In November 2012, Lenta.ru received the Runet Anti-Prize “For Annealing in Social Networks” [8] . Like most employees, he left Tape in the spring of 2014 after the dismissal of editor-in-chief Galina Timchenko . The public on VKontakte was renamed “Lentach” and transferred to the management of a group of readers [3] [9] [10] [11] .

He was the presenter of the “Science in the Park” column in Alexey Pivovarov ’s television show “Park” on Channel One in the summer of 2015 [24] . In September 2016, after Pivovarov was appointed general producer of the RTVi channel, he became the main consultant for this channel on SMM [25] .
