Career

Club career

Pupil of the Baghdad clubs Al-Quva and Al-Shorta . Since 2011, he has been playing for the adult Al-Short team in the Iraq Championship . In the seasons 2012/13 and 2013/14, together with his club, he became the champion of the country, and in 2014 and 2015 he participated in the AFC Cup matches.

Team Career

As part of the youthful (U19) team of Iraq, he became the silver medalist of the Asian Youth Championship 2012. In 2013, he took part in the World Youth Championship , played in all seven matches and scored one goal in the group stage game against the Chilean team [1] , following the results of the tournament he became a semi-finalist.

In 2013, as part of the youth (U23) national team, he became the winner of the Asian Championship. In 2014, as part of the same team, he participated in the Asian Games and became a bronze medalist, taking part in all seven matches. In 2016, he became the bronze medalist of the next Asian Youth Championship, took part in five matches and scored a goal in the group stage against Uzbekistan [2] .

He made his debut in the national team of Iraq on August 14, 2013 in a game against Chile , left in the starting lineup and was replaced during the break, his team lost 0: 6 [3] . He took part in the Asian Cup 2015 , where he played in two matches - the semi-finals and the game for third place, both matches were lost by Iraqis. Also took part in the championship of West Asia. The first goal for the national team scored on March 24, 2016 in a game against Thailand [4] .
