Senino (Chekhov district)

Senino is a village in the Chekhov district of the Moscow region , within the municipality is the rural settlement of Stremilovskoye (until February 28, 2005 it was part of the Stremilov rural district ) [2] [3] , the village is connected by bus with the district center and neighboring settlements [4] .

Geography

Senino is located about 9 km [7] southwest of Chekhov , on the nameless right tributary of the Sukhaya Lopasnya river (right tributary of the Lopasnya ) [8] , the village center height above sea level is 175 m [9] . In 2016, 11 streets and 4 garden associations were registered in Senino [10] .

The wooden Christmas church in Senino has been known since the 2nd half of the 18th century. By 1815, a brick rotundal church was built in the classicist style with a refectory and a bell tower. It was closed in the 1930s, in 1996 it was returned to believers [11] .
