Andre Badi Winner ( Eng. Andre Badi Winner ; November 9, 1981 , St. George's ) - an English mixed-style fighter of Grenadian origin, a representative of the light weight category. He has been playing professionally since 2004, he is known for participating in tournaments of such fighting organizations as UFC , League S-70 , Cage Rage , Cage Warriors , KSW , and held the BAMMA lightweight champion title.

Biography
Andre Winner was born on November 9, 1981 in the city of St. Georges , Grenada , his father was British, and his mother was an afro-kid . At the age of seven, he moved with his family permanently to Leicester , England . He began to actively play sports while studying at school: he played football, was a member of the athletics team. Once I enrolled in self-defense courses, where I met the famous English fighters Dan Hardy and Paul Daley , who influenced his decision to try himself in mixed martial arts [1] .
He made his debut in MMA in December 2004, knocked out his first rival in the first round. Over the next three years, he won five consecutive victories, including performing in such English promotions as Cage Rage and Cage Warriors . The first loss in his career was in April 2007, was caught in the “guillotine” by Greg Logran and lost consciousness, as a result of which a technical change was recorded. He won four more fights, but then lost one fight and reduced one to a draw.
Thanks to a series of successful performances in 2009, Winner attracted the attention of the largest fighting organization UFC and took part in the ninth season of their reality show The Ultimate Fighter , where he represented the UK team and trained under the guidance of the famous fighter Michael Bisping . On the way to the finals, he prevailed over all rivals, however, in the decisive match by unanimous decision, he lost to compatriot Ross Pearson . In the next match in the first round, he knocked out Rolando Delgado. In March 2010, at the UFC Fight Night 21 was supposed to fight with Cole Miller , but he was injured, and in the end he was replaced by Brazilian Rafael Oliveira , whom Winner defeated by unanimous refereeing. However, his further career in the UFC was not so successful, he suffered three defeats in a row and in 2011 he was dismissed from the organization [2] [3] [4] [5] .
Subsequently, he actively participated in various less prestigious promotions, mainly English. In 2012, he won the BAMMA lightweight champion title; in 2014, he won the All-Nothing 6 tournament-eight, where he defeated three opponents in one evening. In August 2015, he performed at the Plotforma S-70 tournament in Russia, losing to the Russian Hakob Stepanyan by unanimous decision. He performed twice at tournaments of the famous Polish promotion KSW [6] [7] [8] [9] [10] .
