The 1985 Interzonal Women's Chess Tournament (Havana) , the sixth Interzonal Women's Tournament, the stage of the world championship competition cycle (1985/1986), was held in 2 groups.
The second group played from June 19 to July 16 in Havana . 14 participants from 10 countries, including 4 from the USSR. The victory in the tournament was won by N. Alexandria - 10 points, which held the competition without defeat. The 2nd place was taken by E. Akhmylovskaya - 9½ points, the 3-5th places were shared by N. Ioseliani , P. Cramling and D. Nutsu - by 8½. Additional match-tournament in 4 laps (Stockholm) for the 3rd place: Cramling - 5½ points out of 8; Ioseliani - 4½; Nutsu - 2. Alexandria, Akhmylovskaya and Kramling got into the contenders tournament.
