“Bars” is a Kazakhstan basketball club from the city of Atyrau . Performs in the championship of Kazakhstan and in the Balkan basketball league. Until the 2017/2018 season, she played in the Baltic Basketball League , this was the last season of this league.

History
Basketball club "Bars" was created in 2003 by the Basketball Federation of Atyrau region and the Department of tourism and sports of Atyrau region. The head coach and adviser of the club was Leonid Novikov, provided as an aid to the Orsk Basketball Federation [1] .
In the 2007/2008 season, under the guidance of the honored trainer of the RK Kim Anatoly Grigoryevich, the women's team Bars was created [1] .
The club won its first trophy in 2009, becoming the owner of the Kazakhstan Cup [2] .
In the 2010/2011 season, “Leopards” became champions of Kazakhstan [3] , beating the Kostanai “Tobol” in the final with a score of 3-0 [4] [5] .
In 2010, Barca Bars started in the Baltic Basketball League, becoming the first team from Central Asia to enter this league [1] . In the 2010/11 and 2011/12 seasons, the team played in the challenge cup of the second division. After the cancellation of divisions in the 2012/13 season, the team reached 1/16. In the seasons 2013/2014 and 2015/16, the club entered the playoffs, but lost in the first round to Šiauliai [6] and Tartu Roku ).
In the 2015/2016 season, “Leopards” became two-time champions of Kazakhstan, beating “ Astana ” in the final with a score of 3-0.
