Vishnevka (until 1948 Yulyakyulya , Finnish. Yläkylä - upper village ) - a village in the Polyansky rural settlement of the Vyborgsky district of the Leningrad region .

History
The former Finnish village of Yulyakyulya, together with neighboring villages, was part of the large (25 sq. Km) village of Yappilya.
At the beginning of the 19th century, Matthias Roche founded a glass factory in the southwestern part of the village of Yappilya. The plant worked from 1803 to 1846.
In 1915, in connection with the construction of the Terioka - Koivisto railway line, the stopping point of Yappilya was opened. Railway communication contributed to the development of summer cottage construction.
Until 1939, it was part of the Uusikirkko volost of the Vyborg province of Finland . By 1939, there were 65 peasant farms in Yappilya. The village was almost completely destroyed by fire in December 1939.
Renamed in 1948. Renaming approved by Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR of January 13, 1949.
According to 1990, the village of Vishnevka was part of the Polyansky village council [2] .
In 1997 and 2007, there was no permanent population in the village [3] [4] .
