Vyacheslav Pavlovich Popov (born January 2, 1998 ) is a Russian swimmer in fins , the 2016 world champion in the 4x200 meter relay.

Career
Lives in Krasnoyarsk and trains in the Krasnoyarsk SDYUSSHOR "Sputnik". His coach is his father - ZTR P. A. Popov .
The results shown by the Russian fours in the 4 × 100 and 4 × 200 meters relay races at the 2014 Junior World Championships remain world records. Also won silver (200 meters) and bronze (400 meters) in individual competitions [1] . By order of August 14, 2014 No. 100-ng, he was awarded the title of international master of sports in Russia .
At the European Championships in 2015, he won at distances of 50 and 100 meters in fins, and also won the relay 4 × 200 meters; won silver at a distance of 200 meters in fins and bronze - at a distance of 400 meters in fins [2] .
At the 2016 World Championships in Greek Volos, he became the world champion in the 4x200 meter relay.
