Content
Club career
Gedson began his career in the modest children's team "Friash." In 2009, he joined the academy of the Portuguese club Benfica and went through all the children's and youth teams of the Eagles.
Career in the national team
Gedson stands for Portugal youth team. As part of the junior national team under the age of 17, he participated in the 2016 European Youth Championship . Gedson took part in all six meetings of this championship and scored with a goal. His team won the tournament, beating the Spaniards in a penalty shootout, Gedson scored the decisive penalty [1] .
September 6, 2018 Fernandes made his debut for the Portuguese national team in a friendly match against the Croatian national team .
