Club career
William de Acevedo was born on April 3, 1995 in the city of Pelotas .
He began his football career with the Juventude club youth team from the city of Caxias do Sul . A year later, a young footballer received an invitation to join the youth team of a stronger club - Internacional from Porto Alegre . With the youth team of this club, William became the winner of the Brazilian Championship for players under 20 in 2013, and the winner of the Brazilian Cup for players under 20 in 2014. At the end of 2014, he received invitations to the club’s main team, from which he became the champion of the League of Gaush 2015 and Recopi Gaush 2016. In March 2016, he extended the contract with the Reds until 2018 [1] .
June 15, 2017 moved to Wolfsburg . The contract is signed for a period of 5 years.
Team Career
Included in the Brazilian Olympic team for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro . At the Olympics, William de Acevedo played in three matches - August 4, 2016 against South Africa , August 7 against Iraq and August 10 against Denmark . Together with the team he won the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro .
