History

The All-Union Institute for Designing the Organization of Energy Construction "Orgenergostroy" was established in accordance with the Decree of the Council of Ministers of the USSR No. 1688 of September 15, 1955. During Soviet times, the organization participated in the preparation of the country's energy program, which included development schemes, analytical materials and regulatory documents. Organenergostroy carried out the development of innovative methods for the construction and installation works at thermal, nuclear and hydroelectric power plants; improving the organization of management and construction economics; design of the industrial base of the energy-building complex; as well as development work and industrial production of the necessary construction equipment. Scientists and engineers of the Institute have developed many advanced concepts and technologies for their time, as well as regulatory documents, including: "Basic provisions for the construction of SDPP-2400 ", which served as the basis for a series of CHP plants with power units of 200 and 300 thousand kW; together with employees of other industry teams, on the basis of the standard VVER-1000 project, compulsory technological rules for the construction of nuclear power plants were created; The design of the electric tractor has been developed, which provides layering of the concrete mixture over a large area and the technology of gravitational concreting of the cast concrete mixture in hard-to-reach, structurally densely reinforced elements; designs, equipment and technology have been developed and implemented for the installation of prestressing systems for protective shells of reactor compartments; developed "Basic provisions for the construction of hydraulic tunnels by drilling and blasting method" [1] and much more. Employees of the Institute are the developers of more than 50 state standards, SNiPs , as well as departmental regulatory documents on methods of testing building materials and structures and requirements for them. Every year, the Institute provided technical assistance and assistance to more than 160 energy construction facilities.

In 1995 , the All-Union Institute for Designing the Organization of Energy Construction Orgenergostroy was reorganized into Orgenergostroy OJSC.

In 2002 , the Orgenergostroy Institute was founded on the basis of Orgenergostroy OJSC, which is its successor.

Liquidation of the Chernobyl accident

April 26, 1986 there was a major catastrophe in the history of nuclear energy - the destruction of the fourth unit of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. To eliminate the consequences of this incident, a group of highly qualified employees of various Soviet institutions was organized. Among them was a group of Orgenergostroy specialists that carried out emergency recovery work. With the assistance and direct participation of the Institute, work was carried out on sewage ringing to prevent the discharge of contaminated water into the r. Pripyat , the creation of a project for organizing the construction of an overpass, concrete plants and a unique remote-controlled concreting installation. Special concrete mixtures were developed for various works, including the construction of a " sarcophagus ". The work of the Institute "Orgenergostroy" in the aftermath of the accident received special attention in the book LS Kaibyshevoy "After Chernobyl" [2] :

His [Institute] staff performed an enormous amount of work for almost all the construction sites of Chernobyl. ... more than 120 employees from 17 departments participated. Moreover, 30 people worked directly at Chernobyl for about a month each.

Some liquidators of the accident at the Chernobyl NPP are still working at Orgenergostroy.

Structure

Today Orgenergostroy has an extensive network of branches with headquarters in Moscow. Separate subdivisions and official representative offices are located in St. Petersburg, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Volgodonsk, Sharypovo, Belarus, Bulgaria, Hungary, Iran, Turkey and the People's Republic of Bangladesh.

The company has more than 1,270 employees.

Activity

The company carries out work on five main types of activity: engineering (organization and management in design and construction), engineering surveys, design, construction and installation works, production and supply of industrial equipment.

Since its foundation, the installed capacity indicators at power facilities, in the construction of which the company took direct part, have amounted to more than 100 thousand MW.

Electric Power

Thermal Power

The oldest direction of the company is the integrated construction management of thermal power plants, existing since the company was founded. Over the years, the Institute developed construction organization projects (POS), work execution projects (CPD) and regulatory documents used in the construction of numerous heat and power facilities of the former USSR.

On the basis of the “Basic Provisions for the Construction of SDPP-2400”, developed by the specialists of the company, power plants were built: Konakovskaya , Ermakovskaya , Kostroma and other stations. The “Basic Provisions for the Construction of Thermal Power Plants 100, 350, and 400 thousand kW” have been developed, applied during the construction of thermal power plants in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg and other cities. Technical assistance was provided for the construction of the Ryazan, Shatura, Ekibastuz, Perm, Berezovskaya, Surgut and other power plants.

Nuclear power

The development of this direction in the company began in 1957 , simultaneously with the creation of the department of technology and construction quality. The first works were performed during the construction of the Beloyarsk and Novovoronezh NPPs , where various technologies and engineering solutions were developed and tested (for example, the use of prefabricated elements, large-sized reinforcing blocks and very heavy concrete).

Today, the majority of the company's work consists of the design, construction and engineering of nuclear power facilities according to the national NPP project - 2006 . This project meets all modern standards of quality and safety, combines such parameters as: low cost of construction work; reduced radiation exposure on the environment and the population, in the normal mode; high operational term, productivity, etc.

Over the past decade, the company carried out work (from the design of the stations themselves to the construction of pioneer and construction bases) at the Russian ( Leningrad NPP - 2 , Baltic NPP , Volgodonsk NPP , Novovoronezh NPP - 2 , etc.) and foreign ( NPP Bushehr , Ruppur NPP, Belene NPP, Akkuyu NPP [3] , Paks NPP , etc.) NPPs.

In 2014 , the Institute Orgenergostroy JSC opened a representative office in Hungary (Budapest) to carry out work on the technical preparation of new power units at the Paks NPP , which will use reactors according to the Russian VVER-1200 technology.

In 2015, Orgenergostroy won the tender for the execution of work on conducting complex engineering surveys and the development of design documentation for Ruppur NPP , which is ordered by the enterprise of the State Atomic Energy Corporation ROSATOM JSC Atomenergoproekt. [4] At the moment, the Institute is carrying out the necessary work at the site for the construction of the construction and installation base, built a support base for surveyors, a residential village at the NPP for Russian specialists [5] , a pioneer base ,.

In 2016, with the participation of the Orgenergostroy Institute, the diagnostics of the reactor of the Armenian NPP was carried out to establish the possibility of extending the life of the second NPP unit. at the second and third power units of the Bushehr-2 NPP (Iran). [7]

Oil and gas industry

One of the activities of the company is engineering, design and construction of facilities for processing, storage and transportation of liquid hydrocarbons (oil, petroleum products, liquefied gases).

ECO JSC completed design works for the construction of the Eastern Siberia - Pacific Ocean trunk pipeline; design and survey work for the reconstruction of the Kozulskaya, Nizhnetagilskaya, Paveltsovskaya and Sokursky oil depots; Predesign works on the organization of transshipment of petroleum products in the port of Temryuk.

Industry

In the period 2007–2009, the company acted as the general contractor for the project to modernize the steel-making complex of OMZ-Specstal LLC in the territory of Izhorsk Works (St. Petersburg). [8] . As part of this project, work was carried out on the construction of a new super-power 120-ton electric arc furnace DSP-120, a gas cleaning system, a calc-firing department, an automated dosing system for alloying materials and a scrap-drying unit.

In 2009 , ECO JSC concluded a contract with JSC VNIPIpromtekhnologii , the owner of a mining and smelting combine, for processing ores of the Yuzhnaya zone of the Elkonsky uranium ore district in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) . The Institute carried out work on the development of project documentation and OBIN buildings and structures of the Elkonsky MMC, including the boiler house, vehicle depot, mine camps, saltpeter warehouse and other auxiliary facilities.
