Adri Koster ( Dutch: Adrie Koster ; November 18, 1954 , Zirikze ) is a Dutch soccer player and coach. Currently, the head coach of the Willem II club.

Football career

Bonfire played for Roda and PSV . The last match in the Eredivisi was held on October 2, 1982. In the 1983/84 season, he completed his football career.

The debut for the national team of the Netherlands took place on September 20, 1978 in a friendly match against the national team of Iceland (3-0). In total, Bonfire spent 3 matches for the national team.

Coach Career

He began his career as an assistant to the head coach of the Eindhoven club. In 1986, he became an assistant to Pete De Visser at the Willem II Club. He spent the 1990/91 season as the club’s head coach from Tilburg . In 1991 he headed the club " Roda ". In 1992, he brought the team to the finals of the national cup , where the club from Kerkrade lost to Feyenoord with a score of 0-3. After he coached the clubs of the First Division of the Netherlands ː Helmond Sport , Oss , Excelsior (Rotterdam) and BBB-Venlo . In 2005, he was appointed head coach of the Valwijk club, which performed in Eredivisi . In the 2006/07 season, the team took 17th place and for the first time in 19 years flew to the First Division , and Bonfire was fired. On April 9, 2007, Adri was appointed head coach of the Ajax Amsterdam youth team. On October 9 of the same year, following the departure of Henk ten Kate to Chelsea , Koster was appointed interim head coach of the main team of the Ajaxids [1] . In 2008, he left his post and headed the double of the Amsterdam club - “ Yong Ajax ”. On April 7, 2009, Adri became the head coach of the Belgian club Brugge [2] [3] . On October 30, 2011, he was fired. In June 2012, he signed a two-year contract with Beershot , but was dismissed in November of that year. In 2014, he was appointed head coach of the Dutch youth team [4] . On October 23, after a series of 4 defeats in a row, Bonfire resigned [5] .
