Andrei Valentinovich Zhizhin (born December 5, 1963 , Red October , Kurgan Region ) is a Russian statesman who temporarily performs the duties of the Head of the Administration of the city of Kurgan (July-September 2016).

Biography
Andrei Valentinovich Zhizhin was born in 1963 in the town of Krasny Oktyabr of the Kargapolsky district of the Kurgan region . Father, Valentin Ivanovich (1941-2010), worked in the forestry as a caterpillar tractor driver. In 1972 he moved to Kurgan , worked as a bulldozer driver at the Bridge Detachment. Mother, Zoya Fedorovna (born 1937).
After graduating from 8th grade at school No. 45, in 1979 he entered the Kurgan Construction College with a degree in Industrial and Civil Engineering.
In construction since 1983.
In March - April 1983 - a carpenter in SMU-8 Kurgantyazhstroy.
From June 1983 to 1990, he was a foreman, deputy head for personnel and life at SMU-5 of OJSC Promstroy.
From 1990 to June 1996 - Chief Engineer of SMU-5 of OJSC Promstroy.
In 1992 he graduated from the Kurgan Agricultural Institute with a degree in Agricultural Construction, and received the qualification of Civil Engineer.
From June 1996 to December 2007 - Chief Engineer, Director of SMU-1 of OJSC Promstroy.
From December 2007 to July 2009, he was the Executive Director of SMP-Kurgan LLC.
In July - November 2009, he was Deputy General Director of ZAO Mechanizator.
In January 2010, he became the head of the Municipal Administration “Capital Construction Department”, in September 2010 he was appointed to the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Municipal Economy of the Administration of the city of Kurgan.
In 2011, he underwent professional retraining at the RANEPA under the program “State and Municipal Administration”.
From January 2012 to August 2013 - Deputy Director of the Department of Housing and Communal Services and Construction of the Administration of the city of Kurgan.
On August 28, 2013, deputies of the Kurgan City Duma agreed on the candidacy of Andrei Zhizhin for the position of Deputy Head of the Administration of the city of Kurgan, director of the Department of Housing and Communal Services and Construction [1] .
On February 24, 2016, at a meeting of the Kurgan City Duma, deputies accepted the resignation of Andrei Zhizhin and appointed a new deputy head of the city administration, director of the Department of Housing and Public Utilities and Construction. It was Svyatoslav Georgievich Rudaev, a former deputy of the Ishim City Council.
On March 1, 2016, Zhizhin was transferred to the post of Deputy Director of the Department of Urban Development [2] [3] .
On July 13, 2016 , after the dismissal of A. V. Porshan , he became the interim head of the Administration of the city of Kurgan [4] [5] . On September 5, 2016, Andrei Yuryevich Potapov took up the duties of the Head of the Administration.
On September 28, 2016, the Kurgan City Duma agreed on the candidacy of A.V. Zhizhin to the post of First Deputy Head of the Administration of the city of Kurgan [6] .
