Free Museum: urban legends ( Belorussian. Free Museum: Garadsk legends ) - Minsk city open-air art exhibition dedicated to famous people who lived and worked in Minsk . The exposition introduces scientists , athletes , inventors , artists , composers , artists and other eminent citizens who have made a significant contribution to the history and life of Minsk . The period of the exhibition in 2016: June 30-September 30. According to the organizers, the Free Museum project will be developed in 2017 as well. [one]

Theme
The exhibition belongs to educational projects in its intended purpose. More than twenty portraits from the collection of the National Museum of Art are equipped with short stories about the people depicted on them. Thanks to the accompanying texts about the achievements and lives of the legendary Minskers, the city exhibition not only talks about the best that Belarusian people have in the capital, but also presents the art of Belarus to the guests of the capital. Among the artists who painted portraits of the legendary Minskers are Mikhail Stanyuta , Vladimir Tovstik , Vladimir Stelmashonok , Sergey Ignatenko , Valentin Volkov , Evgeny Zaitsev , Ivan Akhremchik and others.
