Biography
Medvedev Dmitry Petrovich - a native of s. Setovka Gryaznukhinsky district of the Altai Territory . In military service since August 1940.
Service in the USSR Navy
He served in the Far East as an artilleryman, gun commander, foreman of the commandant’s group, ammunition storekeeper and then clerk, since 1942 he became political instructor of the Vladivostok coastal defense sector of the Pacific Fleet .
Since 1945, he remained in the extra-long 3-year service. During the service he had Stalin's gratitude, was awarded the medal "For the victory over Japan" and the jubilee medal "30 years of the Soviet Army and Navy . "
In 1947 he graduated from the one-year party school of the Pacific Fleet .
He was demobilized in 1948 and moved to Nizhneudinsk , where he worked as a propagandist in the RK VKP (b).
Further fate
In 1952 he graduated from a two-year party school, in 1964 - the Higher Party School under the Central Committee of the CPSU .
In 1962, he was elected Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Bratsk District Council of Workers' Deputies, where he worked until 1969 .
Then from 1969 to 1975. worked as the head of the personnel department of the Bratskles association.
In the post-war period, he was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor and the Badge of Honor for his active participation in economic construction.
Family
The wife of Dmitry Petrovich - Elena Medvedev, a veteran of World War II. The Medvedev family raised two children.
