The seaport of Astrakhan has serial registration number K-1. The port has 16 operators of marine terminals [2] .
It was founded in 1722 on the Kutumova River. Later moved to the banks of the Volga . In 1857, a mechanical plant with 13 workshops was built on the territory of the port, and in 1859 a floating wooden dock for ship repair was commissioned. In the second half of the 19th century, the Astrakhan mooring line was formed. In April 1960, the Sea Trade Port and the Astrakhan River Port were merged and received the common name Astrakhan Port of VORP. In 1993, the Astrakhan port was transformed into an open joint stock company [3] .
