Russian stars of world jazz

Russian Stars of World Jazz is a jazz music festival held in Moscow since 2003. Held annually in late autumn at the Moscow International House of Music . The festival is designed to emphasize the role of Russian and Russian-related musicians in the global jazz space [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] .

The artistic director and producer of the festival is the People's Artist of Russia, jazz pianist and composer Anatoly Kroll . The initiator of the festival is the Union of Moscow Composers . Significant support for the festival is provided by the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO, the Russian Musical Union.

The festival features the best Russian jazz musicians who have gained worldwide fame. Over the entire history of the festival, many famous jazzmen took part in it: Igor Bril and his sons, saxophonists Dmitry and Alexander Bril, David Goloshchekin, Larisa Dolina, Mikhail and Yakov Okun, Alexey Kuznetsov and others.
