Club career

Palacios began his career at the Deportivo Cali Club. In 2011, he was included in the application of the main team for the season. On September 14, 2011, Elibelton made his debut in the Mustang Cup against Riongro Aguilas [1] . At the beginning of 2014, in order to receive gaming practice, he transferred to La Ekidad on a rental basis. On February 8, in a match against Envigado , Palacios made his debut for a new team [2] . After the lease ended, Elibelton returned to Deportivo Cali. On October 27, he scored his first goal in the championship against Deportes Tolima [3] . In 2015, Palacios helped the team win the championship .

In early 2017, Eliberton moved to the Belgian Brugge . On January 22, in a match against Liège 's Standard , he made his debut in the Jupe League [4] .

In early 2018, Palacios returned to Colombia, signing a contract with Atletico Nacional . On February 4, in his match against Deportes Tolima , he made his debut for a new team [5] .

International Career

In 2013, as part of the Colombian youth team, Palacios won the South American Youth Championship in Argentina . In the tournament, he played in matches against teams of Bolivia [6] , Ecuador [7] , Uruguay [8] , Peru [9] , Argentina [10] , Paraguay [11] and twice Chile [12] [13] .

In the summer of that year, Elibelton took part in the youth world championship in Turkey . In the tournament, he played in a match against the teams of Australia [14] .

On November 17, 2015, in the qualifying match of the 2018 World Cup against Argentina, Palacios made his debut for the Colombian national team [15] .

In the summer of 2016, Palacios, as part of the Colombian Olympic team, took part in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro . At the tournament, he played in matches against the teams of Sweden [16] , Japan [17] Nigeria [18] and Brazil [19] .
