History
Ivanovo-Holudenevo has long belonged to the number of palace villages . Here is the ancient church of John the Baptist , whose parish is first mentioned in the Patriarchal Salary Books under the year 1628 . In 1684, a new church was built to replace the old one, bought in the nearby village of Gorki. In 1743 a new church building was re-built, consecrated under the old name. In 1842, for the first time, a stone church was built with a bell tower and two chapels: cold in honor of the birth of John the Baptist and warm in honor of the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God [2] .
As of 1913, the village was part of the Andreevsky volost of the Aleksandrovsky district of the Vladimir province . In Soviet times, the village became a village and was assigned to the Godunovsky village council . In 1998, the Godunovsky village council was renamed the Godunovsky rural district, and as a result of the 2005 reform , the village was transferred to the newly formed Andreevsky rural settlement as part of the Godunovsky rural district.
