Grlich in clubs and the national team almost always performed free-kicks; Ivica scored most of his goals with standard provisions. In 2007, the midfielder announced his departure from the national team in order to concentrate on playing for his club. [3]
After the end of his playing career at the club, Grlich is the sports director of the German football club Duisburg .
