Biography
Born September 13 ( September 26 ), 1904 in Port Arthur (now Lushun , China ). Since 1919 he lived in Chelyabinsk , then in Ukraine.
In 1926-1928 he served on the cruiser Chervona Ukraine (turbine driver).
He graduated from the rabfak of the Leningrad Technological Institute (1929), the Leningrad Military Mechanical Institute (1934), a mechanical engineer.
In 1934-1947 - designer, chief designer of the Perm Engineering Plant named after V.I. Lenin (Motovilikhinsky plants).
In 1940-1941, the chief designer of the 107-mm anti-tank gun M-75.
During the Great Patriotic War he took part in the creation and improvement of artillery guns. He proposed to put the artillery part of the ML-20 gun on the undercarriage of the KV tank, which allowed the creation of the self-propelled gun SU-152 .
Since 1947, the chief designer of the defense plant in Saratov .
