Qualification

The qualification round in the men's gymnastics competition at the 2016 Summer Olympics was held on August 6 . 98 athletes from 44 countries took part in it. As part of this round, qualification for the finals was completed in all disciplines presented at the games. The 6 countries with the most points will reach the final of the team competitions. Four athletes will perform at each of the shells, and the total amount will be calculated based on the results of the performance of the three best athletes on each shell. The final of the individual all-around will be 28 athletes. If any participant refuses to participate in the final, he will be replaced by the next athlete in terms of points. In the finals of the individual competitions will be 8 athletes who have shown the best results on these equipment.
