Located on the right bank of the river. Topkacha , 4.5 km north-west of the village of Lower Poltavka .

In 1941, 256 people lived in the village [1] .
History
Founded by immigrants from the Black Sea. The original name of New York is given by the same name Ekaterinoslav colony. Mennonite community Blumenort. In 1931 the collective farm "Energy" was organized. The entire population was deported on 15-16.11.1941 g [1] .
