Izyaslav Mikulich

Izyaslav Mikulich (Nikolaevich) (d. 1184 ) is a Russian prince from the Izyaslavichi branch of the Polotsk dynasties of the Rurikovich . The son of Mikula (Nikolai) Davydovich together with Prince Logosk of Vseslav (according to another version, he is the grandson of the Izyaslav Prince Volodsha through his son Bryachislav).

In 1181 he participated in the feud between Svyatoslav of Chernigov and Davyd Smolensky - this is described in the "Word on Igor's Regiment" . According to this source, a battle was fought between Davyd, Gleb Drutsky and the Chernigov princes, where Svyatoslav was not, and he hastened to the aid of his allies, meeting several Polotsk princes along the way, including Izyaslav Mikulich. In alliance with them, Svyatoslav won the battle.

In 1184 , according to the annals, Izyaslav died in the battle with the Polovtsy. About his offspring and the inheritance that he owned, nothing is known.
