History
In the late 1990s, Marco Calvo met Carlos Ruiz at a club in Madrid and provided 3 recorded songs under the name Dioxyde to get his opinion on Marco's mastery. Carlos was very impressed and a little later he joined the ranks of the participants, helping with recordings and keyboard performances.
In 2000, Johan van Roy ( Suicide Commando ) met a young group, sending its members an urgent invitation to take a place in the collection "deCODEr", which was released on tape / cd.
In 2002, Dioxyde entered into a contract with German label Dying Culture , which released Dioxyde's debut album, Torschlüsspanik. He was greeted by critics with a bang and very quickly the entire circulation was completely redeemed. Carlos decided to leave the group at the end of 2003, but was immediately replaced by George Babiano (Kok). 2004 began with the collapse of Dying Culture, which forced Marco to seek a new publisher for the upcoming album, but the terrible moto accident and the next few months in the hospital forced him to postpone his participation in the project. A few months before the incident, Dioxyde managed to perform at the largest Gothic festival in Germany - Wave-Gotik-Treffen . Recovery did not come for a long time, and even at the time of the release of Social Phobia, he was expecting the required operation.
Also
Dioxyde played live with Suicide Commando and Hocico.
