Dubrovka (Chekhov district)

Dubrovka is a village in the Chekhov district of the Moscow region , within the municipality is the rural settlement of Stremilovskoye (until February 28, 2005 it was part of the Stremilovskiy rural district ) [2] [3] , the village is connected by bus to the district center and neighboring settlements [4] .

Geography

Dubrovka is located about 23 km [7] south-west of Chekhov , on the left bank of the Nara River, near the border with the Zhukovsky District (Kaluga Region) of the Kaluga Region ) [8] , the height of the village center above sea level is 146 m [9] .

History

In the second half of the 18th century, the estate was owned by the handmaiden O.I. Kozlova and further her heirs. In the middle of the XIX century - Princess O.P. Meshcherskaya (nee Kozlova). In 1890 - the tradesman Cherkasov and in 1911 - M.D. Cherkasov. The remains of a small park have been preserved. The wooden main house of the turn of the XIX-XX centuries was dismantled around 1990 [10] .
