Irada Azad kizi Aliyeva ( azerb. İradə Azad qızı Əliyeva ; December 27, 1991 , Baku ) - Azerbaijani athlete - Paralympic , acting in the category of blindness F12 . Winner of the 2015 World Paralympic Championships . She represented Azerbaijan at the 2016 Summer Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , at which she won a silver medal.

Biography
Irada Aliyeva was born on December 27, 1991 in Baku in a family of athletes. So, Aliyeva’s mother was engaged in cycling and motorcycling , and her grandmother was engaged in acrobatics . Initially, Irada Aliyeva wanted to professionally engage in volleyball , but could not because of her small growth, preferring javelin throwing. According to Aliyeva herself, javelin throwing is a difficult discipline, and she likes to “take on complex tasks” [1] . Irada Aliyeva graduated from secondary school No. 310 and the Academy of Physical Education and Sports in Baku [2] .
Aliyeva began performing in 2005 . In 2009, she decided to take a break in sports, but in 2014 she returned to big sport. In 2015, she participated in the first European Games in Baku among healthy spear throwers. At this tournament, Aliyeva with a score of 36.99 m took 10th place [2] . In the same year, she won the Grand Prix in Tunisia [1] and the Baku Championship in javelin throwing [2] .
In October 2015, at the World Championships in Doha ( Qatar ), Irada Aliyeva won a gold medal in javelin throw, setting a new world record (44.18 m) and becoming the holder of a ticket to the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro [3] [4 ] ] . At the Aliyev Games in the F12 / 13 category, in her best attempt, she threw a spear at 42.58 meters and took second place [5] . In September 2016, Aliyev was awarded the Order of Service to the Fatherland of the III degree [6] by the order of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev for high achievements at the XV Summer Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, as well as for achievements in the development of Azerbaijani sports.
He plays for the Baku club Neftchi. Trained under the supervision of Bakhtiyar Zeynalov [1] .
