Geographical position

The village Poldnevoy of the municipal district “ Bogdanovich City District ” of the Sverdlovsk Region is located at the source of the Kamenka River (the right tributary of the Bolshaya Kalinovka River, Pyshma River Basin ) 15 kilometers (16 kilometers on the highway) to the south from the administrative center of the Okrug - the city of Bogdanovich . In the vicinity of the village to the south there is a mine for the refractory clay mining [3] .

Since 1895, a school of literacy has been organized in the village [4] .

According to the 2002 census, the national composition is as follows: Russians - 95% [6] . According to the 2010 census in the village there were: men - 498, women - 596 [7] .

The village is divided into five streets (Vokzalnaya, Lenina, Pervomayskaya, Sverdlov, Sergey Borodin) and one garden non-profit partnership (“Veteran”) [8] , there is a kindergarten (Municipal institution of Kindergartens “Kindergarten No. 7” [9] ) and a post office [ 8] .
